  • Where is Women's Physician Group located?
We have 2 convenient locations in Midtown (1469 Poplar Avenue at the corner of Poplar and McNeil) and Germantown (7705 Poplar Avenue Suite B-150) directly behind Methodist Germantown Hospital at the corner of Poplar and West Street.

  • What are the hours of operation?
Both locations are open Monday - Thursday from 9:00 am-5:00 pm and Fridays from 9:00 am-4:00 pm.

  • How do I get in touch with a physician or nurse practitioner after hours?
Our practice always has a physician on call to take emergency calls.  If you need to contact someone after regular business hours, simply dial one of our main numbers (276-3222 or 273-1190) and listen for after hours instructions.

  • How do I know what medical services my insurance plan covers?
Your insurance coverage depends on what type of group benefits your employer has purchased.  Therefore, it is impossible for us to know what everyone's individual benefits are.  We do check benefits for the purpose of verifying copay and deductible amounts at the time of your visit; however, we recommend that you check with your insurance company, either by phone or through the appropriate website, prior to your appointment if you have specific questions regarding coverage of prenatal care, lab work, wellness exams and sick visits.

  • My insurance has changed since my last visit.  Will Women's Physician Group automatically know this when I come in for my appointment?
No, only you know when your insurance coverage or benefits have changed.  Therefore, it is important that you bring your insurance card with you to your appointment so that our staff can verify your benefit changes, if any.

  • Does the Women's Physician Group offer the vaccine for cervical cancer (Gardasil)?
Yes.  Please call our office or visit our Gardasil page for more information.
